Apple, Amazon Beat Spotify to the Punch: How to Get Your Yearly Music Recaps Now

Spotify Wrapped is arguably the most popular way to share your yearly music-listening habits, but it’s not the only game in town. Apple and Amazon beat out Spotify this year by launching their own annual music recaps this week.

Apple Music Replay will display a full-screen slideshow with your most-listened-to artists, songs, and podcasts in 2024. It may also tell you how many minutes of audio you listened to on the app and reveal your longest “listening streak,” among other facts.

If you use Apple Music, you can check out your 2024 Replay now by going to Apple’s dedicated page, but it’s also available in the app.

Amazon Music is also launching its own version of annual audio recaps, dubbed “Delivered,” on Tuesday. It will show you all the Amazon Music songs, artists, and podcasts you loved the most. And Amazon says some Alexa-enabled devices may serve up a special surprise message from one of their favorite artists. Spotify has done this in the past too; if you binge-listen to a specific artist, they record a voice message for their biggest fans.

Delivered is now available on the Amazon Music apps. Going to your Library page and tapping the “2024 Delivered” banner will open your customized Amazon Music year-end summary. You can also check out your “Top Songs 2024” playlist or ask your Alexa device to play it.
