5 Best Post-Prime Day Weekend Electronics Deals

5 Best Post-Prime Day Weekend Electronics Deals

We survived Amazon Prime Big Deal Days with our sanity intact, grinding through the thousands of tech offers to bring you the best (and buying a bunch of stuff for ourselves). But now it’s the weekend, and it’s time to take a little break. Even though Prime Day pricing is gone, Amazon still has some pretty killer deals—but so does Walmart, Best Buy, and quite a few other places. We took a little time to dig up five solid bargains from all over including a big discount on a budget laptop, two Editors’ Choice winners, and more.

If you’re looking for a pair of wireless earbuds but don’t want to shell out AirPods prices (or have lost a pair or two of those already), we’re happy to endorse the Beats Studio Buds. In our review, we said that they are “loaded with AirPods Pro-like features, including active noise cancellation (ANC), Spatial Audio for Apple Music’s new Dolby Atmos-mixed tracks, and one-touch pairing for both iOS and Android devices.” 8.2mm dual-element dynamic drivers produce clear, bass-forward sound, and they’re simple to control and have solid battery life.

Keeping an eye on the outside world is important, especially as the nights get longer and holiday packages start to hit your front porch. Give yourself an added sense of security with a highly-rated video doorbell from Google. We reviewed the Google Nest Hello video doorbell and were impressed by its advanced facial recognition features, which let you create a database of regular visitors and customize notification when they ring the bell. You can trigger pre-recorded away messages, share video feeds with friends and family, and more. This is a really juicy 61% discount, so jump on it quick.

It is incredibly rare that we give a product a perfect five-star “Exemplary” rating along an Editors’ Choice award, but the second-generation Apple Pencil got one. Check out the review for exactly why this slim little stylus will totally transform the way you interact with your iPad. It gives you remarkable precision as well as expression, monitoring pen pressure and tilt to let you draw, edit, and control your apps in new ways. The biggest upgrade over the first-generation Pencil is the addition of magnetic charging, so you don’t have to plug it in to the tablet’s Lightning port.

Looking to pick up a new laptop? It’s going to be hard to beat a $220 discount on this extremely capable Dell machine. We reviewed the Inspiron 15, saying that it was “a step above its competition” thanks to its large 15-inch full HD display, solid build quality and decent components for the price. This configuration ships with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U processor with Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. A variety of ports, including a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, give you good connectivity, and battery life is workable.

Here’s another Editors’ Choice winner, this time a Samsung display that’s a real attention-getter. Measuring 49 inches from corner to corner with a 1,800mm curvature and one of the thinnest panels we’ve ever seen, it wowed us in our review. We said that the OLED G9 was “a feast for the eyes and the ultrawide monitor to beat for immersive PC gaming” thanks to its dual quad HD (5,120-by-1,440-pixel) display with a 240Hz refresh rate and a rated 0.03ms response time. The OLED colors are gorgeous, and blacks are dark thanks to the pixels actually fully turning off. It’s spendy, but saving $700 makes it attainable.
